Embed2Scale at CVPR EarthVision 2026: Three Papers Accepted
Embed2Scale partners will take part in CVPR EarthVision 2026 this June in Denver, USA. The event brings together the Earth observation, computer vision, and machine learning communities to advance scalable and trustworthy analysis of large‑scale geospatial data for environmental and societal applications.
Last year, Embed2Scale organised the Embed2Scale Data Challenge at CVPR EarthVision. This year, three papers from and with support from Embed2Scale partners were accepted:
- “NeuCo-Bench: A Novel Benchmark Framework for Neural Embeddings in Earth Observation” – Rikard Vinge (DLR); Isabelle Wittmann (IBM); Jannik Schneider (JSC); Michael Marszalek (DLR); Luis Gilch (IBM); Thomas Brunschwiler (IBM); Conrad M. Albrecht (DLR)
- “How to Embed Matters: Evaluation of EO Embedding Design Choices” – Luis Gilch (IBM); Isabelle Wittmann (IBM); Maximilian Nitsche (IBM); Johannes Jakubik (IBM); Arne Ewald (Nordakademie); Thomas Brunschwiler (IBM)
- “Location Is All You Need: Continuous Spatiotemporal Neural Representations of Earth Observation Data” – Mojgan Madadikhaljan (University of the Bundeswehr Munich); Jonathan Prexl (University of the Bundeswehr Munich); Isabelle Wittmann (IBM); Conrad M. Albrecht (Columbia University); Michael Schmitt (University of the Bundeswehr Munich)
Rikard Vinge (DLR) and Luis Gilch (IBM) will represent the Embed2Scale consortium on site.
